Meeting was called to order at 12:20 p.m. by Russ Hitz via roll call. Meeting was verified to have been legally posted to meet in closed session to discuss employee matters.
Jeremy’s job performance was discussed. There were no issues or concerns.
Russ notified the board of an additional paid holiday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Clerk will make adjustment for this payroll change. , effective 2023 as the holiday has already passed.
Jeremy requested sick pay, or an ability to carry over & bank hours so he isn’t put in a similar position due to illness as he was in Dec. 2021. The board discussed current vacation hours, the accrual of Comp time, and that Comp legally has to be used by the end of each year and cannot carry over.
Board will give Jeremy 120 hours of vacation on January 1, of each year, with the ability to bank 256 hours, maximum. Motion made by Hoff, seconded by Hahn. Carried 3-0.
Motion made by Hahn to increase Part Time Highway wage for Tom Lutzen to $24 per hour. Seconded by Hoff. Carried 3-0.
Motion made by Hahn to increase the Part Time Site Workers wage by $2 per hour. Keith Lutzen will earn $14 per hour and Dave Behling will $12 per hour. Seconded by Hoff. Carried 3-0.
